Prime Minister of South Ossetia Rostik Khugaev held a meeting with the Director General of the Limited Company "EnergostroyServis" of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Peter Kochiev and with Chief Engineer of the Limited Company "EnergoService" of Kabardino-Balkaria Republic Akhmet Kanukov. The meeting was also attended by Minister for Economic Development of South Ossetia Zalina Khugati.
In the course of the meeting were being discussed the issues of contracting for designing the construction of hydropower stations in the Republic of South Ossetia.
The representatives of the companies briefed the Prime Minister with the results of their work in exploring the possibilities of building the hydropower stations on the rivers Big and Small Liakhva, as well as on their feeders.
Then those present discussed the issues related to the concept of building small and medium-sized hydropower stations in South Ossetia, the schedule of works for construction the hydropower stations, as well as the associated costs.
"I`d like to note that there will be no problems with the financing, but it will be granted strictly on the basis of the results of the work executed. This term will certainly be provided in the relevant agreements ", - said Khugaev.
At the end of the meeting the Prime Minister stressed the importance of construction of its own sources of power in the Republic and drew attention to the importance of the timely conclusion of contracts for performance of work on designing the power plants.
