The head of state noted that prior to his visit to Moscow it had already been decided to reduce the number of servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic to 250 people.
"We did not agree with this issue," said Tibilov. "And I am grateful and I will be grateful to Vladimir Putin all my life for supporting us and saying that South Ossetia must have its own army. We have preserved our army, and today we are doing everything to ensure that the fighting ability of our army meets today's requirements. "
