On Tuesday in Tskhinval is playing a rally commemorating the victims of the Beslan tragedy, flowers and wreaths are laid at the Monument to the Grieving Angel in front of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church.
Mourning music is sounding on the Cathedral Square. The tragedy of the entire Ossetian people reminds itself with renewed vigor. Many of those gathered to pay tribute to the victims of Beslan do not hold back their tears, in the mute silence in front of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the pain settled forever in the heart of every Ossetian after the terrible September days of 2004.
“Time does not heal pain” - this truth is realized each time again and again, when the faces of Beslan’s children appear before our eyes, who were not destined to enter adulthood.
Schoolchildren, preschool children, who came with their parents to the elder brothers and sisters’ holiday, those who spent three days in the walls of the school under the gun of terrorists, exhausted from fear and hunger, were very thirsty, but even more they wanted to live, and they believed that they would be saved. The hopes of many of them did not come true ... Contrary to their will, they became angels, ruthless executioners did not spare the souls of children. As a result of the seizure of school No. 1 in Beslan in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania by terrorists on September 1, 2004, more than 1, 2 thousand people were held hostage. September 3 were killed 334 people, 186 of whom were children. 126 people became disabled, including 70 children.

Representatives of ministries and departments, institutions of the Republic, students and teachers from all schools of the city are coming here to remember and pay tribute to the victims of the monstrous tragedy.
Mourning events these days are being held in both parts of Ossetia - in the south and north, as well as throughout Russia.
