Performers from South Ossetia will become participants in the International Festival of Arts “Slavic Bazaar”, which is traditionally held in the Republic of Belarus, Igor Tasoev, head of the culture, youth and sports department of the Capitals’s administration, told the "Res " news agency.
According to him, the festival will be held in 2020 in Vitebsk (Belarus), and the work is currently underway to establish contacts with the organizers of the “Slavic Bazaar” festival.
Tasoev has noted that qualifying rounds of the Republican performers will be held in Tskhinval to identify the worthiest musicians to participate in the festival.
It should be noted that next year, the South Ossetian performer of classical chanson, a laureate of many Russian and international competitions Igor Tasoev will represent South Ossetia at the International Music Festival of Vocal Art "Golden Tuning Fork" in the Czech Republic.
