Servicemen of the Defense Ministry of South Ossetia, who took third place at the International Army Games 2020 - "Tank Biathlon", were awarded the bronze medal of the games. “Also for good results and successful performance, two crews from South Ossetia received medals “For Contribution to the Development of the International Army Games”. The awards were given to the crew commander Taimuraz Gubaev, gunner Andrey Sabanov and mechanic driver Soltan Kulukhov, commander of the other crew Sergey Gobozov, gunner Dmitry Bukulov and mechanic driver Georgy Gagiev,”he said.
Also medals "For strengthening the military community" were presented to Vladimir Dzagoev and Sergey Kochiev.
Lieutenant Sergei Kochiev, Assistant Chief of the Press Service of the Defense Ministry of the Republic of South Ossetia, has noted that the crews of the South Ossetian Ministry of Defense also took part in the closing ceremony of the International Army Games 2020.
”Our team was also invited to the closing ceremony of the Army games, where a large gala concert was held, and the event ended with a Grand salute.. It is the third day since we arrived in the republic and we are in quarantine,”Kochief said.
It should be noted that the team of the Defense Ministry of the Republic of South Ossetia (two crews) entered the top three winners of the second division at the International Army Games 2020 - "Tank Biathlon".
