In the "red zones" of the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center (RMMC) of South Ossetia, as of the morning of December 15, 69 patients are being treated. This was reported to IA "Res" on Tuesday by the chief infectious disease specialist of the Republic, Eleonora Dzhioeva.
"In the infectious building of the RMMC, 39 patients are currently undergoing treatment, in the building of the children's hospital - 30. There is one patient in the intensive care unit, another patient on non-invasive mechanical ventilation," the doctor said.
As noted by Dzhioeva, over the past day, eight people were admitted to the "red zone", four patients were discharged with recommendations to continue treatment on an outpatient basis. In addition, one patient was evacuated to the Vladikavkaz medical institution for further treatment.
According to the doctor, the admission and triage department of the RMMC received 33 patients on Monday, six of them were hospitalized.
“45 patients were tested in the reception and triage center, five people received directions for computed tomography of the chest,” said the chief infectious disease specialist.
Dzhioeva has added, that the mobile teams examined two patients at home.
