A meeting with representatives of the Public Coordination Council for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses under the Government of South Ossetia, which includes entrepreneurs of the Republic, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of acting Prime Minister Gennady Bekoev.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the members of the coordinating council discussed amendments and additions to the Tax Code, the rules for preparing annual plans for inspections of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs by state control bodies, as well as the state program for support and development of small and medium-sized businesses for 2021.
“The most important thing now is to support entrepreneurs in the small and medium segment of business, who, despite the difficulties, continue to pay at least some taxes and provide jobs. Of course, it is necessary to work out all the possibilities, benefits, including the simplified tax system. All these issues are being developed by the government, "said Gennady Bekoev, adding that familiarization with the rules of verification procedures will facilitate the conduct of control measures, both for representatives of supervisory authorities and the business community.
The acting head of government will tell about the results of the meeting in more detail at the meeting with media representatives scheduled for the near future.
