At a meeting of the Presidium on Monday, Chairman of the Parliament of South Ossetia Alan Tadtaev instructed the head of the Defense and Security Committee Atsamaz Bibilov to prepare a list of persons who will be included in the joint conciliation commission of the government and Parliament of the Republic on the delimitation and demarcation of the state border.
According to him, a letter on the creation of this commission was previously sent to President Anatoly Bibilov.
“I ask you to work on who will be included in this commission in the near future, and as soon as the issue is ready, submit it to the parliamentary session. After that, parliamentary hearings on the delimitation and demarcation of the state border will be held,” the Speaker said.
Earlier, Alan Tadtaev said that "it is necessary that this Commission work on the fact of two reports, taking into account all the prescribed norms in the Decree on the formation of the South Ossetian Autonomous Region, and, based on them, come to the same opinion and result to outline the border of our Republic" ...
According to the Speaker, the Commission should include one deputy from each faction and one deputy from single-mandate members.
He asked all the deputies to closely engage in this work to study all the materials related to the designation of the border of the Republic. He has added that the hearings, which were held in the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia, on this issue will be held in the future. At the hearings, the deputies will hear information from everyone who at one time dealt with the issues of delimitation and demarcation of the border with Georgia.
