President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev visited the IDPs from the Donetsk People's Republic in Tskhinval and congratulated them on the upcoming New Year, the press service of the head of state reports.
Gagloev wished them peace and happiness, expressing confidence that soon all the difficulties will end, and the special operation will reach its logical conclusion.
“I am sure that you will meet with your family and friends in the very near future. We, in turn, will do our best to provide you with maximum assistance and support. People of South Ossetia will always be with you,” he said.
Alan Gagloev has stressed that at present, fighters from South Ossetia are fighting on the front line for peace in the land of Donbass.
For her part, Svetlana Logacheva, who had left her homeland with her children at the beginning of the year, thanked the head of state. She noted the sincere attitude of all the inhabitants of South Ossetia whom she had ever met.
“Thank you for your concern. Thank you for such an attitude towards us and our children from every resident. This is evident everywhere: at school, at circles, and here at the hotel,” she said.
At the end of the meeting, the President presented everyone with New Year's sweet gifts.
