Residents of South Ossetia are fighting in the special operation in Ukraine with a sense of duty. This was stated by President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev in an exclusive interview to the Russia-24 channel.
"South Ossetia was the first to recognize the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk Republics. Since 2014, our guys, together with their brothers from different regions of Russia, have been defending peace in the Donbass republics. Since the beginning of the special operation, the number of its participants from our Republic has only increased," the President said.
According to him, the servicemen of the 4th Russian base, located in South Ossetia, volunteers are fighting today during the special operation with a sense of duty.
