A mourning action in memory of the victims of the Beslan tragedy was held on Sunday on Cathedral Square near the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Tskhinval.
Hundreds of caring people came to honor the memory of the innocent victims of the terrorist attack, including heads of ministries and departments, members of parliament, members of the public, ordinary citizens, and guests of South Ossetia.
Schoolchildren told about the tragic events that had taken place in September 2004 at the Beslan school.
“334 human lives, hundreds of wounded, dozens of broken and crippled lives… Terrorism is evil. Eternal memory to the children of Beslan, eternal memory to their teachers, parents and people who saved the victims of the tragedy,” it was noted during the event.
Those present honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.
Traditionally, 334 white balloons were launched into the sky according to the number of victims of those killed in the attack.
Participants of the event laid flowers and brought drinking water, which children and adults so needed 19 years ago at the Beslan school.
Those present did not hold back their emotions, tears ... Wounds from a terrible tragedy do not heal...
On Sunday, memorial services were held in the churches of the Republic in memory of the victims of the Beslan tragedy.
