Hundreds of residents of South Ossetia, despite the cold November day, took part in the solemn procession dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the beginning of the struggle of the South Ossetian people for independence - the Day of Courage and National Unity.
The event has taken place with the participation of the public of the Republic, the South Ossetian State University students, and schoolchildren.
The procession began from the Theater Square of the capital, the participants of the action headed to the place of confrontation at the entrance to the city of Tskhinval.
At the end of the procession, a rally dedicated to November 23 began at the entrance to the city.
On Thursday morning, in honor of the significant date, thanksgiving services were held in the churches of the Republic.
