The European Parliament, ignoring the obvious, contrary to common sense, instead of calling on the Georgian side, in order to avoid provocative actions, to begin working jointly with the South Ossetian side on the delimitation and demarcation of the state border, continues to stir up the situation with such actions, while demonstrating its openly anti-Ossetian position. This is stated in the statement of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry.
On November 23, the European Parliament made another politicized decision, approving a resolution regarding the incident occurred on November 6, 2023 near the village of Amdzarin, Leningor district, on the territory bordering Georgia.
“It is with regret that we have to state the continued degradation of the European structures. The fact of deliberate violation of the state border of South Ossetia by these persons, associated with a threat to the lives of representatives of the border service, is undeniable and confirmed by the corresponding photo and video recording,” the department has noted.
On November 6, on the territory bordering Georgia, not far from the village of Amdzarin, Leningor district, when border patrol detained the violators of the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia, the incident occurred, as a result of which one Georgian citizen was injured and later died, another was detained.
