On Monday, First Deputy Prime Minister Alan Dzhioev met with the specialists from the A. N. Bakulev National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery of the Russian Health Ministry.
According to the government press service, the specialists arrived in the Republic on a working visit in order to provide advisory assistance to citizens of the Republic within the framework of the previously reached agreements.
Alan Dzhioev expressed gratitude to the guests, having noted that the South Ossetian side is counting on effective interaction.
“We understand the importance of your work and value it very highly. I express my sincere gratitude for the cooperation and look forward to further fruitful work,” Alan Dzhioev said.
According to Advisor to Director of the Center Galina Lutsenko, the work plan has already been drawn up and the doctors are ready to start working.
The reception and consultations of citizens of the Republic with cardiovascular diseases will be be conducted by the Russian specialists on July 23 and 24.
As part of the working visit, on July 25, it is also planned to hold a scientific and practical conference “Practical Cardiology of Arrhythmology and Thrombolysis” together with the South Ossetian colleagues.
For the Russian part, the meeting was attended by: Galina Lutsenko - Advisor to Director of the Center, as well as the specialists in the field of cardiology: Vera Dontsova, Evgenia Ruzina, Oleg Sopov, Anton Koasari, Zalina Kudzoeva, Alexey Zagrai. For the South Ossetian part by Deputy Minister of Health Alena Pukhaeva and chief therapist of the RMMC Tamara Sanakoeva.
