South Ossetia will establish its National Olympic Committee

National Olympic Committee is planned to be established in South Ossetia.

As reported to IA "Res" by the Chairman of the Committee on Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism Vadim Bogiev, "Republic of South Ossetia is a sovereign state. Our independence has been recognized by several states that are members of the United Nations and other international organizations.It is natural that our country should have its sports structures, which, along with the other ones, are the indispensableattributes of any independent state".
According to him, South Ossetia received congratulatory telegrams from a number of countries whose teams had participated in the recent XXX Summer Olympics in London.

The attempts of the West to create the anti-Russian sentiments in the Caucasus require more active and effective reaction of Russia

The Western countries, which adopt the leading positions in the aggressive military-political bloc of NATO, actively continue to intervene in the internal affairs of Russia.
Their goal, in particular, is the expulsion of Russia from South Ossetia, the destruction of the South Ossetian State (and also, as in 1991 - 2008 - the holocaust of the people of South Ossetia) as well as destabilization of the situation in the North Caucasus in order to separate it from Russia and make it their protectorate and a springboard for further military actions against the rest of the Russian state.

Wrestler from South Ossetia went to the World Championship

South Ossetian fighter Inal Tasoev went to Baku to participate in the World Freestyle WrestlingChampionship among athletes born in 1995-1996. As IA "Res" has been informed by the coach of the athlete Tamerlan Kochiev, "our wrestler will perform in the weight class up to 85 kg. Prior to the tournament, we had a two-week training session in Adler".

August 15-17 Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of South Ossetia Hugo Jose Garcia Hernandez was in South Ossetia on a working visit.
During the visit Ambassador Hernandez was received by the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov and the RSO Minister of Foreign Affairs David Sanakoev.

Murat Dzhioev: There had never been any Georgian enclaves in South Ossetia

President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov did not issue any decree or order regarding the demolition of the burned and destroyed houses in the villages of the Republic.
This has been reported to IA "Res" by the RSO Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev, commenting on the information in the newspaper "Izvestia" on August 14, 2012, as if in South Ossetia "will be demolished several Georgian villages, which are located to the north of the capital of the Republic ".

Defense Ministry of South Ossetia: The situation at the frontier is quiet
