The recognition decision made by the Venezuelan leadership was based on a deep understanding of emerging international realities and indicated open and firm support for the just struggle of the people of South Ossetia for the inalienable right to self-determination and freedom, said the message of the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov addressed to the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro.

Tuesday marks the 10th anniversary of the recognition of the state independence of the Republic by Venezuela.

President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov wished the President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar al-Assad on the birthday of new victories and achievements for the benefit of Syria and its citizens.
