A telephone conversation took place between President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev and the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov, the press service of the head of state reports.

During the conversation, Ramzan Kadyrov congratulated Alan Gagloev on his birthday. ⠀

The head of the Chechen Republic noted the enormous contribution of Alan Gagloev to the development of friendly relations between the peoples of Russia and South Ossetia. ⠀

Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to South Ossetia, Jesus Rafael Salazar Velasquez, inspected the stand with the South Ossetian products at the Prodexpo-2024 exhibition, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.

The diplomat expressed gratitude to the South Ossetian Embassy in Russia.

The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia, Ibragim Gasseev, sent a telegram of condolences to his Russian colleague Alexander Kurenkov in connection with the death of the head of the main directorate of the Russian emergency department for the LPR, Alexey Poleschenko, the press service of the Ministry reports.

Gasseev also sent a telegram to the personnel of the main directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Luhansk People's Republic.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia called on Georgia to get rid of illusions regarding South Ossetia and Abkhazia and accept the geopolitical realities existing after 2008. This was stated to TASS by the head of the foreign policy department of the Republic, Akhsar Dzhioev, commenting on the statement of the candidate for Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze about the peaceful “return” of the territories of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
