The unexploded cluster munition from the Uragan multiple launch rocket system was found in Dzau district of South Ossetia. This was reported by the press service of the Republic's Ministry of Emergency Situations.

As clarified by the department, the explosive device was found in a forest above the village of Kroz.

The ammunition was destroyed on the spot by sappers of the South Ossetian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the press service has added.

The next meeting on the border of South Ossetia with Georgia within the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) format will be held in 2025. This was announced by Deputy Presidential Envoy of the Republic of South Ossetia for Post-Conflict Settlement, the head of the South Ossetian delegation to the IPRM Egor Kochiev.
