The ICRC rendered another humanitarian aid to the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee

On Thursday, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) donated additional equipment to the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee to support the work of the PCR laboratory.

Marina Tedety, a public relations specialist of the organization, told the “Res” news agency, that the cargo, formed at the request of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of South Ossetia, included air recirculating irradiators, test tube racks and uninterruptible power supplies.

Foreign Ministers of South Ossetia and the DPR discussed the issue of opening diplomatic missions

A working meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia and the Donetsk People's Republic Dmitry Medoev and Natalia Nikonorova on the issue of opening diplomatic missions took place in Donetsk, the press service of the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia reported.

"During the meeting, the parties touched upon the topics of further cooperation between the states, effective interdepartmental interaction in general," the press service said.

The development of the economy of South Ossetia and the DPR was discussed by the heads of governments at the meeting in Donetsk

During his working visit to Donetsk, Prime Minister of South Ossetia Gennady Bekoev met with the Chairman of the DPR government Alexander Ananchenko. According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the parties exchanged views on economic issues, intergovernmental interaction, cultural exchange and other topical issues.

KGB of South Ossetia reported on thirty-five violations of the border legislation in November

In November, 35 violators of legislation in the border sphere were detained in various sections of the state border of South Ossetia, the press service of the Republic's State Security Committee reported on Tuesday.

In 2022 South Ossetia will create conditions for unhindered trade with the DPR - Prime Minister

South Ossetia intends to establish unhindered trade with the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) next year. This was announced on Tuesday by the Chairman of the Government of South Ossetia Gennady Bekoev at the working meeting "Prospects for deepening the economic integration of Russia and Donbass."

"South Ossetia in 2022 will do everything possible to develop mutually beneficial cooperation and create conditions for unhindered trade. We have great potential for mutual promotion of business entities, as well as the creation of joint ventures," the Donetsk news agency quotes him.

Russians vaccinated against covid vaccines, including in South Ossetia and Abkhazia, will be able to receive a certificate - Golikova

Russians vaccinated with foreign vaccines against coronavirus will be able to receive a vaccination certificate for six months after the antibody test. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced this on Monday.

"Our citizens vaccinated with foreign vaccines can also take an antibody test and also receive a certificate valid for six months," she said while considering a bill on QR codes at the meeting of the United Russia faction in the State Duma.

Russian compatriots from South Ossetia arrived in Belarus for a youth forum

A group of Russian compatriots from South Ossetia arrived in the Republic of Belarus to participate in the international youth forum. The Forum of Russian Compatriots Living Abroad, "New Realities - New Opportunities", is being held in the Republic of Belarus from December 10 to 16.

Russian compatriots from South Ossetia are represented by four people.

The Forum, which will be held in two cities: Minsk and Gomel, gathered about a hundred participants from Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Abkhazia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, Tajikistan.
