Georgia is living in some kind of virtual world, - Anatoly Bibilov

Three main issues remain unresolved - this is the issue of security, the missing citizens of South Ossetia and the illegal post in Uista (Tsnelis), - said President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov at the meeting with the co-chairs of the Geneva Discussions on Thursday.

"There is the documented information that the three guys were definitely in the hands of the Georgian police. Let them give us at least the remains, so that we can bury them humanly, and relatives can come to their graves," the President said.

Co-Chairs of the Geneva Discussions will visit South Ossetia

Toivo Klaar, Chihan Sultanoglu and Annika Söder, co-chairs of the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia from the EU, UN and OSCE, will arrive in Tskhinval on Thursday to discuss the agenda of the upcoming round of discussions in October, the press service of the South Ossetian presidential envoy's office for post-conflict settlement told the "Res" news agency.

“The co-chairs will meet with members of the South Ossetian delegation at the Geneva Discussions and President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov,” the press service said.

Healthcare issues of South Ossetia have been discussed in Moscow

On Wednesday, in Moscow, a meeting was held between the Health Minister of South Ossetia Soslan Naniev and the First Deputy Health Minister of Russia Viktor Fisenko, the press service of the Embassy of the Republic in the Russian Federation reported.

"During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation in the field of healthcare and social development were discussed. The parties exchanged views on cooperation in the fight against coronavirus infection," the Embassy said.

The South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee has reported 168 new cases of coronavirus infection

Of the 410 tests for coronavirus infection carried out on the last working day before the weekend in the PCR laboratory of the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, 109 showed a positive result, the head of the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Marina Kochieva told the "Res" news agency on Wednesday.

"220 tests conducted on September 20, showed 59 positive results," she said.

A military parade on the occasion of the Republic Day is being held in the capital of South Ossetia

The parade dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the formation of the Republic of South Ossetia is taking place on the central square of Tskhinval. The parade is being received by the Defense Minister of the Republic, Lieutenant General Ibragim Gasseev, the Chief of Staff of the Defense Ministry Viktor Fedorov is in command of the parade.

Delegations from Russia, Syria, Abkhazia, Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics arrived in the capital. The first president of South Ossetia, Ludvig Chibirov, and the third president of the republic, Leonid Tibilov, are also on the podium.
