Artistic Director of the South Ossetian State Drama Theater Tamerlan Dzudtsov commented to the “Res” news agency on the initiative of the President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov to organize exchange tours of theaters in South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

The issue of strengthening cultural ties between the two fraternal republics and, in particular, the exchange tours of theater companies in Sukhum and Tskhinval, the head of state voiced last Thursday during the negotiations with the Abkhaz leader, Aslan Bzhania.

The sixth meeting of the Joint South Ossetian-Russian Demarcation Commission took place in Tskhinval, the press service of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry reported on Friday.

“The course of demarcation of the South Ossetian-Russian state border was discussed. The work plan of the Commission for 2022 was approved. The meeting was held in the spirit of open dialogue and mutual understanding,” the press service said.
