The fourth anniversary of the Georgian aggression in South Ossetia will be honored withcommemorative events.
As reported IA "Res" by the State Councilor of President of South Ossetia on state and international protocol Janna Zasseeva, the events will begin August 7 at 22:00 with the action "Exhibition of the shot paintings," which will be held at the Theater Square in the center of Tskhinval.
"The exhibition will consist of the shot paintings. There will be a platform where you can put flowers, because the Theatre Square is a place where we express our common grief and our common joy, "- said Zasseeva.
Then, according to her, Archpriest of Tskhinval Father Jakov will lead a cross procession to the Gergiev `s Stairs, where will be held the action in memory of all the missing persons.
"For the first time we`ll be speaking openly about the persons, missing since 22 years of the war. We have a glimmer of hope that we will be heard by those who have been holding our guys. Among them are our friends, relatives and neighbors. We cannot consider them the dead because we do not know their burial place and date of death, "- underlined the state adviser.
Zasseeva has noted, that the events will be continueв by the action " We`ll always remember everything ..." at the cathedral square in Tskhinval. The minor music performed by the State Symphony Orchestra of Radio and Television of the Russian Federation, named after Sergei Rachmaninoff, will be sounded there.
"This will be not a concert, there will be heard the heart-rending music and song. This is a place where we should beright with God and with ourselves. Here, at the square will be sitting the mothers, who gave the most precious they had - their children's lives for the benefit of Ossetia ", - stressed Zasseeva.
After the memorial mass at the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary the participants of the actions will visit the "Museum of burnt souls ..." on the outskirts of Tskhinval.
"We will light candles and pray for the souls of those who perished in the battle for Tskhinval. Any mother does not care what nationality is the child - all of these children are our children. We will pray for Dennis Vetchinov and for Arat Mamsurov, for all of the fallen guys, "- she said.
Janna Zasseeva appealed to the residents and visitors of South Ossetia to take part in the commemorative events.
"I want everybody who can walk, who can feel, who can share the pain of his people, to come. I wish we were together, as we were together in August 2008, in August 2009, "- she expressed a wish.
According to Zasseeva, on August 8 are also planned other events, including a round table meeting with representatives of the Ossetian diasporas from the far and the near abroad.
