The main tasks of the Geneva process, in addition to ensuring security and peace, are to deal with the consequences of the conflict, the EU Co-Chair Magdalena Grono said during the press approach in Tskhinval.

On Tuesday, the Co-Chairs, representing three international organizations, arrived in the capital of South Ossetia for a regular meeting before the 63rd round, which will be held in Geneva in March.

"At today's meeting, we focused on the work of both working groups on humanitarian issues, security issues, and in particular discussed the possibility of resuming the work on all issues," Grono has noted.

"I hope that our work will be fruitful. It would be fair to say that we are a new team now, and we will try to do everything possible to add more dynamics to the process in Geneva. We will work to ensure that all items on the agenda – non-use of force and international assistance in resolving the conflict – are implemented. We want to add dynamics to all the items,” Magdalena Grono has stressed.
