Athlete from South Ossetia Ivar Talibdjanov is participating in the Thai Boxing World Championship, which has started today in St. Petersburg.
According to the sportsman, he is performing in the weight class up to 86 kilograms.
"The competition is attended by athletes from 100 countries. All-female teams will also perform in the competitions. The athletes, taking part in the competition, are very strong, many of them are the world champions, champions of Europe and the winners of various major tournaments.
