Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev, during an official visit to the Republic of Nauru, met with the Speaker of the country's Parliament Cyril Buraman.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, "during the conversation Dmitry Medoev thanked Cyril Buraman for the invitation to visit the Parliament of the Republic of Nauru and expressed gratitude to the leadership of Nauru for organizing an official visit to the Republic on such a significant day."
The Foreign Minister of South Ossetia also noted the very warm welcome and attention shown to the South Ossetian delegation during the stay in Nauru.
According to Medoev, the host country has demonstrated a high level of organization, a clear and harmonious work of all structures involved in protocol and other events.
In a conversation with the head of the Nauru legislative body, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia particularly emphasized that South Ossetia was deeply grateful for the recognition of South Ossetia's independence by the Nauru government on December 16, 2009
