President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov arrived in the Syrian Arab Republic on an official visit.
According to the presidential press service, during the visit, Anatoly Bibilov plans to hold talks with Syrian President Bashar Assad, which will conclude with the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between South Ossetia and the Syrian Arab Republic.
Within the framework of the official visit of President Bibilov to Damascus, are also planned meetings of the South Ossetian delegation with the Prime Minister of Syria Imad Khamis, Speaker of the Syrian Parliament Hammoud Al-Sabag and representatives of the Syrian business community.
The delegation of South Ossetia included the head of the Presidential Executive Office Igor Kozaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Medoev, Defense Minister Ibrahim Gasseev, the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Gennady Kokoev, the head Alan Tadtaev.
