9 patients were discharged from the "red zone" of the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center of South Ossetia (RMMC) in a day, 89 people with COVID-19 are being treated, the Republic’s chief infectious disease specialist Eleonora Dzhioeva told IA "RES "on Sunday.
"Currently, in the infectious building of the RMMC there are 40 patients with coronavirus, in the children's hospital - 49, in the intensive care unit - 8 patients," the doctor said.
According to Dzhioeva, 4 patients were admitted to the RMMC over the past day, 9 people were discharged from the hospital for outpatient follow-up treatment.
“The admission and triage department accepted and examined 35 patients on Saturday, 3 of them were hospitalized. The Russian specialist examined and gave recommendations to 16 patients. Five patients were referred for computed tomography of the chest organs,” said the chief infectious disease specialist.
