The meeting of the joint commission on inter-parliamentary cooperation of the Parliament of South Ossetia and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will be held on November 18 in Tskhinval, the press service of the legislative body of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.
Zaza Dryaev, Сhairman of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy and inter-parliamentary relations, has noted that the delegation of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will include four senators and an executive secretary.
“The delegation will be headed by co-chairman of the inter-parliamentary commission Sergei Tsekov. Senators Crym Kazanokov, Elena Bibikova, Rimma Galushina and executive secretary of the Russian part of the Commission on cooperation of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the RSO Parliament Nadezhda Dakhova will arrive. They will arrive in the Republic on November 17, the work program has been formed for November 18,” Driaev said.
According to the parliamentarian, it is also planned to receive a delegation by the Chairman of the Parliament of South Ossetia.
For the South Ossetian part, deputies Elena Dzhioeva, Inal Urigaev and Alexander Pliev will take part in the work of the joint commission.
The agenda of the meeting of the joint commission on inter-parliamentary cooperation of the Parliament of South Ossetia and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation includes seven issues: “On legislative support for the implementation of the Alliance and Integration Treaty signed between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia”, “On restrictions on the export and import of cars into the Russian Federation from the Republic of South Ossetia”, “On the inclusion in the total work experience of the period of work in the Republic of South Ossetia of citizens of the Russian Federation permanently residing on the territory of the Republic of South Ossetia”, “On consultations of the staff of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia with the staff and relevant committees of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation via videoconference”, “On approval of the work plan of the commission on cooperation for 2023”, “On the next meeting of the commission on cooperation of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia”, “Miscellaneous”.
