The heads of the ministries of culture of Abkhazia and South Ossetia are developing joint events in honor of the landmark anniversary - the 15th anniversary of the recognition of the independence of the republics by the Russian Federation. This was announced at the briefing in Tskhinval by the head of Ministry of Culture of Abkhazia, Daur Kove.
"The idea is to make a joint event. We are now thinking what a beautiful highlight to give to our peoples. I am sure that it will turn out bright and very interesting," the Minister said.
Kove said that at the end of May - beginning of June, groups from Tskhinval were expected to arrive in Abkhazia to hold the Days of Culture of South Ossetia.
According to him, the cooperation between the two ministries will become fruitful and will be carried out in different areas of culture.
On April 5-6, the Days of Culture of Abkhazia are being held in Tskhinval.
