The violator of the state border of South Ossetia was expelled on Friday to Georgia, the press service of the KGB reports.
“April 17, 2023 in the vicinity of the settlement of Khuymta, Znaur district, for violating the regime of the state border of the Republic, the South Ossetian border guards detained a citizen of Georgia Mamagulashvili Dmitry Zakharovich, born in 1991, a resident of the village of Dvani of the Karelian municipality,” the press service said.
The KGB noted that on April 20, the Znaur District Court Mamagulashvili D.Z. was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 2, Article 4 of the Law of the Republic of South Ossetia “On Administrative Responsibility for Violating the Protection of the State Border of the Republic” and fined with subsequent expulsion.
The department added that the violator was handed over to Georgia in accordance with the established procedure.
