Every year, on the birthday of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, a brilliant poet, creator of the modern Russian literary language, Russian Language Day is celebrated.
Gagloev has emphasized that this is a significant day not only for philologists and linguists; this holiday unites millions of Russian-speaking people.
“Modern Russian language is one of the largest languages in the world, the integral part of the world cultural heritage, the instrument of interstate communication,” the congratulation published on the official website of the head of state, says.
The President continued that the great and powerful, the Russian language had always represented a living spiritual bond, connecting many generations of ancestors and descendants into a single nation.
“So let Russian Language Day be a holiday of friendship and love for Russian literature for every resident of our country. I wish everyone who speaks Russian and those who teach it, peace, well and prosperity,” the leader of the Republic wished.
