Representatives of the Public Chamber of South Ossetia, headed by the head of the organization, Sergei Kudziev, spoke at a briefing in Tskhinval about the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation signed with the profile organization of Russia.

The signing of the official document took place in Moscow on December 15.

According to Sergei Kudziev, the signed agreement will become a powerful impetus for the development of partnership with Russia.

As of the morning of December 24, 78 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 are being treated in the "red zones" of the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center (RMMC) of South Ossetia. “Currently,40 patients are being treated in the infectious diseases building, 38 in the building of the children's hospital. Three are in the intensive care unit, two of them are in an extremely severe condition,” the doctor said.

102 tests conducted over the past day in South Ossetia revealed 34 new cases of coronavirus infection, Deputy Head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Anna Gagloeva told IA "Res" on Thursday.

"The number of cases in the Republic since mid-September has reached 2206. Another 44 people have been removed from the medical register with a negative COVID-19 test, a total of 1377 people have recovered," Gagloeva said. "829 people remain under medical supervision."
