The Embassy of South Ossetia in Russia, at the invitation of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, took part in the opening ceremony of the monument to Simon Bolivar, the most authoritative leader in the war for the independence of the Spanish colonies in America. The monument was erected in Moscow on the occasion of the 240th anniversary of Bolivar's birth.

Representatives of South Ossetia are taking part in the International Youth Tourist-Patriotic Forum "United Caucasus". This was reported by the press service of the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic.

The event is taking place in Kabardino-Balkaria. Young people from various Caucasian republics are invited to the Forum.

A cache of ammunition was found in the warehouses of the Melioration state institution in Tskhinval, the press service of the South Ossetian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

Later, sappers from Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia found two more anti-tank mines at the construction site.

Pupils and teachers of secondary school No. 2 in Tskhinval continue to weave camouflage nets for fighters from South Ossetia who are in the special military operation zone. They have already sent a batch of nets to the special military operation zone and received a lot of positive feedback from the guys from the front.

Commemorative events dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Georgia's military aggression against the Republic in August 2008 will be held in South Ossetia.
