The heads of the ministries of culture of Abkhazia and South Ossetia are developing joint events in honor of the landmark anniversary - the 15th anniversary of the recognition of the independence of the republics by the Russian Federation. This was announced at the briefing in Tskhinval by the head of Ministry of Culture of Abkhazia, Daur Kove.

"The idea is to make a joint event. We are now thinking what a beautiful highlight to give to our peoples. I am sure that it will turn out bright and very interesting," the Minister said.

Parliamentarians of South Ossetia supported the appeal of the State Duma to the UN regarding the attacks on the Nord Stream

Deputies of the Parliament of South Ossetia unanimously supported the appeal of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia to the UN with a proposal to urgently conduct an international investigation into the crime committed by the United States on September 26, 2022 in the Baltic Sea.

The Days of Culture of Abkhazia are being held in South Ossetia for the first time

On Wednesday, in the capital of South Ossetia, at the State Drama Theater, the grand opening of the Days of Culture of Abkhazia took place.

The event was opened by Minister of Culture of South Ossetia Rada Dzagoeva, the head of the Ministry of Culture of Abkhazia Daur Kove and Ambassador of Abkhazia to South Ossetia Alan Elbakiev.

“We came to this together, and today we have the opportunity to implement these activities. We are looking forward to the arrival in Abkhazia in the near future of the creative teams of our fraternal South Ossetia,” Kove said.

President of South Ossetia hosted the delegation of Abkhazia

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev received on Wednesday the delegation of Abkhazia, which had arrived in the Republic, headed by Minister of Culture Daur Kove. Alan Gagloev greeted the guests, noting the importance of intercultural interaction.
