In the course of holding the repeated monitoring on October, 8th, 2007 in the area of the observant post «Spider» on the road of the settlement of Eredvi - the settlement of Achabeti by the observers from the three parties with the representatives of the Mission of OSCE it has been recorded, that the illegal post of police continues its activity in an immediate vicinity from the peace-making post «Spider». The employees of the police have not again admitted the group of monitoring to exam the place of engineering works, thus they have broken article 4 of the Provision about military contingents and the groups of military observers.

In the course of holding a monitoring on October, 4th and on October, 5th, 2007 in 100 metres to the north-west of the observant post "Spider" on the road of the settlement of Eredvi - the settlement of Achabeti by the observers from the three parties with the representatives of the Mission of OSCE had been recorded the fact of placing of an illegal post of the police. The georgian side declares, that it is ostensibly caused by the necessity of guarding of the two bearing supports of a high-voltage line. Considering, that they are on a distance of 50-150 metres from the two observant posts of the Peacemaking Forces from the Russian Federation and Georgia of "Spider" and are visually looked through from there, it puts under doubt the given statement and, especially, the legality of placing the post of police in that place.

As it was earlier informed, the authorities of the Republic of South Ossetia have made a decision on discontinuance since October, 1st, 2007 of the electric power submission in the occupied by Georgia georgian-populated villages of South Ossetia, situated on the site of the Trans-Caucasin main Kekhvi-Tamarasheni in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict.

The georgian side continues to ignore the arrangements, accepted by it in the zone of the conflict: the items 7 and 18 of the Appendix №1 of the Report of JCC №7 from December, 6th, 1994, and also the item 42 of the Provision on the group of military observers and illegally keeps two military men of the Peacemaking Forces from the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, seized by it in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict on August, 29th, 2007 by the power structures of Georgia.

The movement on the Trans-Caucasian main, suspended on October, 1st, will be completely renewed today. The correspondent of the agency «Res» have been informed about it at the Ministry of road and capital construction of the Republic of South Ossetia.

Within the last week in immediate vicinity from the observation post of the Peacemaking Forces from the Russian Federation "Spider" was repeatedly marked the presence of armed persons. In the course of work of the group of monitoring, consisting of the observers from the three parties and the representatives of the Mission of OSCE, in the area of the observant post "Spider" has been recorded the work of the field-engineer division, belonging to the Ministry of Defence of Georgia.

On September, 29th, 2007, a monitoring with the purpose of checking of the received information on shooting of a civil car in the area of the settlement of Nuli had been held by the group of military observers from the three parties and the representatives of the Mission of OSCE. During the work of the group of monitoring it has been established, that on September, 28th, 2007 about 21:00pm the civil car that moved from the ossetian settlement of Kvernet in the direction of the ossetian settlement of Khod had been fired by unknown persons from the small arms.

On September, 29th, in the course of planned actions on preventive actions of illegal deforestation on the territory of Tskhinval region, three inhabitants of the villages of Kekhvi, Kurta and Achabet, that carried out the storage of firewood, have been detained by the employees of the management on strife with economic crimes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia.

This week the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has finished the realization of the two other projects in the field of reconstruction in the centers of compact residing of displaced persons "BAM" and the tourist centre "Ossetia" in Tskhinval. It is spoken about in the message of the Tskhinval office of the organization.

In connection with an aggravation of the situation in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict

On September, 26th the capital of South Ossetia, the town of Tskhinval, has undergone a massed shelling from the direction of the georgian villages. As a result of shelling, that proceeded about two hours with application of the small arms and the large-caliber machine guns. There are wounded men there; a significant material damage is caused to the capital of the republic.
