South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov received the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Fayzullin, who arrived in the Republic on a working visit. As stated by the press service of the President and the Government of South Ossetia, the meeting was also attended by First Deputy Prime Minister of South Ossetia Domenty Kulumbegov and Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of South Ossetia Eduard Dzagoev.
The Head of State welcomed the guests and told about the impact of the 2008 war that had caused enormous damage to the country. He expressed his gratitude to the leadership and people of Russia for their support to people of South Ossetia.
"Today we are on the path of economic development, but the process of restoring the Republic is still ongoing," - he said.
The President also thanked Irek Fayzullin for agreeing to participate in the reconstruction process of South Ossetia and said that Tatarstan builders would receive all necessary assistance for productive work in the country.
"In 2014, should be completed the construction in progress. I think that we will find common ground on the issues that we have to solve, and together we will enjoy the results of our common work", - said Leonid Tibilov.
In turn, Irek Faizullin thanked the President for the warm reception, conveyed greetings on behalf of President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and invited to visit the country.
Irek Faizullin has also assured the head of the South Ossetian state that the construction works will involve local contractors. "There will be a systematic work, we will try to mobilize for a month and get real results by the end of 2014," - he said.
Construction companies of the Republic of Tatarstan, famous for the construction of facilities of the World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan, act as the general contractor by the decision of the Intergovernmental Committee on socio-economic cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia.
