"We have just received a letter from the co-chairs of the Geneva discussions to reschedule the meeting. The participants in the discussions cannot take part in it because of the situation with coronavirus in Europe. The date of the next meeting is still unknown," he said.
The Geneva discussions on Transcaucasia are the only dialogue platform between Tskhinval, Sukhum and Tbilisi, the basis is the agreements of the Presidents of the Russian Federation and France reached after the aggression of Georgia in August 2008. Representatives of South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Georgia, Russia and the United States, as well as observers from the UN, the European Union and the OSCE, participate in the negotiations in Geneva.
