Over the past day, three patients with coronavirus have been hospitalized in the "red zones" of the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center of South Ossetia, four people have been discharged for outpatient follow-up care, the Republic's chief infectious disease specialist Eleonora Dzhioeva told Res.
According to her, 62 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 are being treated in the "red zones" of the Republic's medical center as of January 12.
“Currently, 22 patients are being treated in the infectious diseases building of the hospital, 40 in the building of the children's hospital. Five of them are in the intensive care unit,” said the doctor.
According to Dzhioeva, the admission and triage ward of the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center of the Republic on Tuesday received 38 patients.
"Seven patients were referred for computed tomography of the chest organs. 46 people were tested in the admission and triage ward," said the chief infectious disease specialist.
As noted by Dzhioeva, the mobile teams examined one person at home, and one was tested. The chief infectious disease specialist of the Republic appealed to the population to observe all preventive measures to prevent the spread of a new coronavirus infection.
