Foreign Ministers of South Ossetia and Pridnestrovie condemned the terrorist attacks in Tiraspol

On Tuesday, a telephone conversation took place between Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Transnistria Vitaly Ignatiev in connection with terrorist attacks against state institutions and important telecommunications facilities in Tiraspol, according to the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic.

Medoev strongly condemned the series of criminal acts, describing them as deliberate provocation and terrorist acts. He has also assured Ignatiev that the people of South Ossetia are in solidarity with the fraternal people of Transnistria and strongly condemn all forms of terrorism and extremism. The Ministry is preparing a special statement around this event.

For his part, Ignatiev expressed gratitude for the words of support and solidarity with the people of Pridnestrovie.

He spoke in detail about the details of the terrorist attack and its consequences, and stressed that the government of Transnistria was doing everything possible to prevent the repetition of such actions in the future.

A decree of President Vadim Krasnoselsky is being prepared for release on the announcement of a red level of danger throughout the Republic.
