Among the important issues voiced by the South Ossetian party at the meeting within the framework of the IPRM was the location of the illegal Georgian police post in the territory of the village of Uista in South Ossetia.
This was stated following the results of the 116th meeting within the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanisms (IPRM), held on Wednesday, by Deputy Presidential Envoy of the Republic of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement issues, the head of the South Ossetian delegation to the IPRM, Egor Kochiev.
According to him, important issues related to security and humanitarian issues were discussed at the meeting.
“The issues of drones and violation of the state border were raised. These questions are raised by us from time to time. “I would like to note that every time the South Ossetian delegation calls on the Georgian side to take preventive measures to prevent the border violations by Georgian citizens and any possible provocative actions that follow them,” Kochiev said.
Preliminarily, the next meeting within the IPRM will be held on February 13, 2024.
