A collection point for humanitarian aid for residents of Syria and Turkey affected by the devastating earthquake has opened in Tskhinval. A solemn meeting was held in Tskhinval in honor of the 31st anniversary of the formation of the Special Purpose Police Detachment (OMON) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia.
President of the Republic Alan Gagloev, representatives of the legislative and executive branches of power, heads of law enforcement and military structures came to congratulate the riot police.
