The investigatory subdivision of the KGB RSO has brought an action against two citizens of Georgia, arrested while making an attempt of violating the state border of South Ossetia according to item 2, article 322 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation (illegal crossing of frontier). It has been reported to the News agency "Res" by the KGB RSO press-service. «Now citizens of Georgia are placed in the detention centre, investigatory actions are being carried out with them», - has been noted at the press-service.

Mission of the International committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is realizing the project on clearing and partial repair of the irrigation canal in the village Tsorbis of Znaursky region in South Ossetia. It has been reported to the news agency "Res" by the representative of the mission on public relations Marina Tedety. «The part of the irrigation canal providing the farmland of the inhabitants with water has been damaged as a result of the landslip and did not function. There are 126 court yards in the village Tsorbis, the population had problems with irrigation of their lots, - Tedety has told. - On behalf of the villagers their representative has addressed to us with the request of rendering them assistance in resolving this problem. Our engineers have studied the condition of the irrigating system and have made a decision to develop and realize its restoration project».

The President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity has sent congratulation to the President of the Republic of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega on the occasion of celebrating the 32nd anniversary of the victory of the National Sandinistas Revolution. The meeting of the South-Ossetian delegation at the Geneva discussions with co-chairmen of the Geneva discussions, who have arrived in South Ossetia with working visit, has taken place in Tskhinval. A special representative of the EU Pierre Morel, the representative of the United Nations Anti Turunen and a special OSCE representative Giedrius Chekuolis have taken part in the meeting under the chairmanship of the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on post conflict settlement Boris Chochiev. Having suffered military defeats in 2004 and 2008, modern Georgian authorities are aiming for revenge.
